Drugs that have antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effects deserve special attention, sodium-containing drugs are one of them, which is why they used in veterinary medicine.
 The article presents the results experimental studies to study sub-acute toxicity drugs: known – glycetinate 2%, its analogues ovocid 3%, potassium-sodium 1.5% (Na / K, 1.5%).
 was carried out by applying skin animals. experiment white rats weighing 250-270 g. 4 groups with 3 animals each were formed: group I on applied 2 - Na K drug 1.5%, 3rd ovocide 4th (control) 2%. subjected clinical observations, assessing their general condition reaction. effect morphological biochemical parameters blood studied.
 Evaluating condition, behavior, local reaction for subacute toxicity, irritant action drugs, it noted did not cause visible violations physiological functions, appearance signs intoxication. No significant inflammation or irritation (erythema, edema, cracks) recorded At same time, should be all had a slight redness at place application later disappeared.
